Tip Tuesday: Turning a House into a Home

The thing that makes a house a home is love.  And sometimes, something very little adds very large love.  This sentiment is why Coldwell Banker founded the Homes for Dogs Project, a partnership with Adopt-A-Pet aimed at helping dogs find homes.

When deciding to sell your home, this ball of love is often a factor that sellers are nervous about.  Their dog has brought so much love into their home and they don’t want the stress of strangers showing their home and moving to add unnecessary, unhealthy stress to their beloved fur-baby.  That’s why Coldwell Banker has created this list of how to keep your pets stress-free during a move.

This pup adds an abundance of love into our home.

Plus, as dog-lovers ourselves whose home just wouldn’t be a home without our pup, we are aware of, sensitive and cautious of this factor and are dedicated to helping you and your pets transition well.  We’ll walk you through strategies (i.e. 24 hour notice for showings so that you can arrange for your pets to vacate the property during that time).  If you’re considering selling your home, but nervous about this transition for your pets, contact us today and we’ll help make it as stress-free as possible for every loved one involved.
