How do you know you’re from Newington, CT? Â The third Saturday is July is always booked for you because the Life. Be in it. 
Extravaganza (otherwise known as the Newington Extravaganza) is a time-honored tradition. Â There will be food, games, rides, adult beer garden, arts & craft exhibits and much more! The carnival will be open from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. The Entertainment Stage will feature an exciting line-up of local performances. Â Admission to the park and parking is FREE. The event will conclude with a spectacular evening fireworks display over Mill Pond Park, launching at 9:30 pm. Â All events are held at Mill Pond Park.
